FIND STOCKISTS

1980

In 1981 Lotte started to sell an ice cream called “Wataboushi” which was ice cream wrapped around marshmallow.

1981

The sales were great for “Wataboushi” but Lotte decided to change the marshmallow to Mochi which is stretchy rice dough for the reason to make the ice cream more Japanese.

1995

From 1995-1998 the package was square. After 1999 the package became closer to the one it currently is.
